2) What are
the hours of operation?
We are open Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00 p.m sharp. additional hours are
available upon request for an additional fee.
3) Is Children's
Heaven Childcare licensed?
Yes, we are licensed and monitored
by New York State Office of Children and family services.
4) How may
children do you care for?
We are licensed for a total of 14
children.
5) What is
the vacation policy?
Parents are given 1 weeks vacation. Contact me for more info.
6) What is
the illness policy?
We are at no time a sick-child care facility. Children with symptoms
of fever, diarrhea, unexplained rashes, vomiting will not be accepted
into care and can only return after 24 hours of being symptom
free. more information on this can be found in the parent handbook.
7)
What are your fees?
Our fees are very affordable and are calculated by each child's
individual needs. e.x. Potty training, special needs. and the
hours and days of care enrolled. Please contact
me for more information. Rates are given in person not over the phone or by email, allowing us an opportunity to meet and discuss you and your child's needs.
8) Are you
a USDA food program participant?
Yes, we participate in the CACFP. All meals and snacks are included in your weekly fee.

Is your Childcare insured?
Yes, we carry Commercial liability insurance.
10) Are you first aid and CPR Trained
We are all first aid, CPR and MAT certified
11) What will
my child do each day?

12) Do you
transport children while they are in your care?
Yes, we ocassionally go on trips to the park, and outdoor activities.
However permission forms must be signed by each parent authorizing
this.

Can I drop in for a visit?
You are always welcome to stop
by, I only ask that you observe the daily activities, as to not
disturb nap time.
14)What
if I am late picking up my child sometimes? and what are your
late fees?
We charge a late fee of $15, The fee begins immediately after 6pm and is for each period of 15 minutes thereafter. Late fees are charged to deter constant lateness.Please be considerate to myself,
my assistant or any staff that is here if you are going to be
late when picking up your child, and call and let us know. Constant
lateness is automatic grounds for termination of Childcare Services.
This will be strictly enforced as we all would like to go home
on time at the end of our work day.
15) Do I still
have to pay if my child is sick and does not attend daycare?
YES,
payment is still required if children are sick or absent. Payment
is also required for holidays and vacations, you have
paid to maintain a spot here that cannot be filled on a short
term basis. The only time payment is not required is if I am unable
to provide childcare.
16) When do
you expect your payment? and
do you charge a late fee for payments not received on time?
All Payments are due in advance
at the beginning of the week. No Exceptions!!
The late fee for payments not received on time is $5 per occurence.
However, habitual late payments are grounds for termination of
Childcare Services. A $20 fee will be added for all returned checks, and parents are responsible for any fees that provider may incur.

accept Government Subsidies?
Absolutely! We are a Department
of Social Services contracted provider, and therefore we accept
DSS, SWEP etc.

I need to enroll my child?

Medication Administration Form
19) My child
takes medication are you authorized to give it to him/her?
This facility is approved to administer
all medications. However we must have written consent from you
and the child's Physician before we can administer it.
20) What types of payment do you accept?
Effective 1/1/08. We no longer accept checks for payment of childcare fees, We gladly accept cash or money orders.
21) What Holidays are you closed?
We are closed on the following holidays:
New Years Day
Martin Luther King Jr
President's Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Columbus Day
Veteran's Day
Thanksgiving day and the day after
Christmas Day and the day after
We are also closed two (2) weeks out the year for vacation.
